PAINTING SERVICE FAQ

What kind of standard are figures painted to?
Essex figures are painted to a high standard. Along with the examples here, all of the images of figures in the On-Line Catalogue are indicative of the quality and standard of our painting service, as most of them were taken from our stock of painted miniatures.
How are they painted and finished?
We use Acrylic paints and finish with a matt varnish. Figures are supplied unbased, but we do also have a basing service.
Do I still have to buy 15mm figures in packs?
For 15mm figures, the pack system does not apply to painted figures, so you may order any quantity of a particular figure code.
Am i paying for the painting itself or the final product?
The painted figure price is also inclusive of the price of the casting.
Are any discounts available?
Yes, orders over £500 qualify for a 10% discount.

We can also paint any of the buildings we have in stock. Please contact us for prices, etc.

DIORAMAS
Essex Miniatures are now pleased to offer you a diorama service, personalised to your own specifications. It can be just a couple of figures, ie. a French lancer charging a British infantryman, to a battle between English and French knights in the medieval period. As this is a one-off service, we will quote a price on any quantity and period after receiving an outline of what is needed. We will add all the relevant scenic pieces to complete the model to a high standard. We will use 15mm or 25mm figures and can incorporate other makes of figures if required.
